TREFA is where European shooters show their gear and builds, log their range days, follow each other and organise around clubs. Think of a sports-tracking app crossed with the show-your-gear side of a photo app, built for a community the big platforms would rather not have.
Legal firearms content gets its reach quietly reduced, hidden from search, or pulled from a feed nobody complained about, not only removed outright. TREFA wasn't built as a workaround for that. It was built as a place where showing a legally owned firearm doesn't need defending in the first place.
Beginners, recreational shooters, competitors, hunters, clay and shotgun sports, precision and long range, and the tacticool crowd. All of them first-class, none of them the default. Nothing here implies you need to be good enough to be here.
TREFA is named after the Czech word for a hit. It is built in Prague, for all of Europe, in Czech and English first.
TREFA does not host, broker or facilitate the sale or transfer of firearms, parts or ammunition. No dealers, no listings, no prices. It is the one thing that keeps a platform like this in the app stores, and we intend to keep it that way.
People may say what is incomplete, unpopular or offensive. Two things are never allowed: selling or brokering between users, and direct calls to violence. Everything else is judged by a person at the company, case by case, and software never removes anything on its own. How moderation works.
Every photo and video has its location and camera data stripped before it is stored. It is not a setting, it is not optional, and there is no way to turn it back on.
Accounts, posts and photos live on servers in the European Union that we run ourselves. The one outside service is for mail, and the privacy policy names it. The privacy policy.
TREFA is for adults and is not marketed to minors. It is free, and there are no ads from dealers, because there is nothing for sale.
